I do believe this was a true labor of love. I never did a mirror image card before and had a tough time. Thanks to my DH for his insight and suggestions! Why I chose to do something as difficult as this scene, I'll never know.
The snow on the ground was made with embossing paste and I sprinkled glitter on top. The snow on the windowsill was made with liquid applique and heated to plump it up.
It took me FOREVER (thus, the labor of love) to make the window. I don't think you can see the acetate in the picture, but that's what I used to create the glass in the window. I then had to cut cardstock for the window frame in order to hide the glue underneath the acetate sheet. Whew!
In the end, I'm happy with it; but, from now on, I'll definitely do something easier!!

Whew is right! Holy cow, girl! This is awesome, awesome. Do you know that your snow is on the virge of being Kittie snow? I absolutely love this card.....it is one of those that when you are done, you just have be proud of it and display it to remember what you can accomplish when you put your mind to it. A never do again card, they are few and far between but so well worth the time spent. Really, really good job....Wow, you really out did yourself!
