This is my table from a "craft sale" I attended last November. I could not find the pictures I had taken anywhere! Somehow I found them tonight. Go figure! So thought I would share.
I made several decorated paint cans and matching stamped candles. And I did Snowman Soup and Snowman Poop (two totally separate items! LOL). I made "slider" covers for microwave popcorn, and Hershey bar sliders. I had some soaps, bath gels and pins that I had got at Michael's dollar bins and put in cello bags with toppers. I sold more of the microwave popcorn sliders than anything!
It was fun but didn't sell alot, barely enough to cover my table fee let alone cover all my supplies. I had lots of Christmas gifts leftover though! And it wasn't a traditional "craft sale"...it was called "A Night to Indulge" and put on by our local Big Brothers Big Sisters as a fundraiser. Attendees paid 15.00 to get in and there were hors d'oevres and demonstrations and a fashion show. It was more of a vendor thing than crafters. I was hoping to get my name out there as I had just started being a demo. All the attendees got "goodie bags" and I gave little cello bags with toppers that had some peppermints (red and green) in and a label on the back with my "business card" info. Never got any contacts from it though. But had a good time, and won 150.00 in the door prize raffle. I donated half back to the organization and used the other half to help cover some of my expenses.
Now that the rules have changed, I have been tempted to go to another craft show, but not this year, not before the holidays, no time.
Thanks for looking, and for reading this "novel"...sorry I got so chatty!

Having done TWO shows this past month, I can appreciate all the work you put into your pretties. At least you won the door prize to help off set AND you got a head start on your own stocking stuffers and little gifts.
Very nice! TFS! :o)
