Had to take a break from the Christmas cards! Tried out the Fiskers Shapecutter my friend gave me to cut a scalloped border. It worked pretty good. I used the piece I cut off to flip over and make a sort of stencil, and sponged the ink along the scalloped edge. The rest just sort of evolved as I went. I poked holes on either side of the bird's beak so I could thread the cord through, and then used a little dot of crystal effects to stop the end from poking straight up. I used all the same colours of ink on the flowers as on the bird, just using the blender pen on my ink pads.
