I make these albums with the packing paper from my orders.
Along with some card candy or scrap candy this would be a great booking gift.
I thought of it when I kept seeing paper bag albums and I did not have any bags.
Then because of an article (along with several people) in the Sept 2006 SS about why we get so much packaging made me think I should make one and send it in.
So here it is.
To make, take one of the strips of paper and tear it at the perforations. These come in 8” intervals.
Now fold it the long ways making it a strip that is 4”x 30”.
Fan fold this strip.
You can make the pages the sizes you wish. In this album they are about 4x4 and I put 2 strips together to get the number (6) of pages I wanted in the album.
I then used the sewing machine and bound it with twill tape.
When you make these you will find that there are lots of natural pockets at the top to put tags, photos or memorabilia in.

very cool-great use of the packing paper. My boys call it "Marching Paper" as they love to march all over it with the crinkling noise, I also let them color all over it and rolled some up to save to let them draw on later or decorate to make wrapping paper...

ok, I'm hoping that nobody threw anything nasty into the big garbage bin in the garage after I dumped a big mass of the packing paper into it this afternoon! Gotta go dumpster diving now....I did not realize this paper comes in strips, it looks like all one big sheet to me. Love the idea of making a PB book with it! Jan
