A shadow box birthday card. I couldn't put this through the scanner and had a heck of a time (fighting winds and shadows) trying to get a photo outside.;o)) Thanks Linda, for lending your Angler set and for showing me this technique. The pine branches are from Peaceful wishes, stamped in versamark and clear embossed 3-4 coats, also the did the same thing for the pinecone and then cut them out. The "rainbow trout" is colored and has 3-4 coats of EP. He is attached to the fishing line with wire as Love Stampin!!! did with this card which I just love:Gallery at Splitcoaststampers

WOW! This is so cool! I love the detail of this box. You went to alot of work to cut out the pine needles and pinecone. I love the wire leading from the fishing pole to the rainbow trout! The sky over the silhouette of fishermen makes me think of the beautiful setting sunsets, the song of the loon (I'm from MN), and the wonderful vacations at the lake. Good job!

Hey, Karen, you're welcome! I love what you did with it here. This is beautiful! The sunset behind the fisherman is fantastic, and so is that fish! Love those cut out pinecones and needles. I'm sure he loved this card. TFS. Linda
