This is going to be my moms birthday card. Today in Colorado Springs we have a heck of a blizzard going on. I decided to forego the drive to work (good thing too because they closed the interstate North of Woodmen...and I work way North of that)! Yikes!
I was inspired to get this stamp (and also in my card making attempt) after seeing Trudee's beautiful work in the Dirty Dozen gallery. Hydrangea's are my favorite flower and this stamp by Paper Inspirations is just gorgeous! I did the poppin pastels technique on the hydrangea then sponged Sahara Sand ink all over rest of the background. Don't know if you can see it but there is Sakura Stardust glitter pen accenting parts of the flower. I also used Antique Linen Distress ink around the edges to further distress the focal image. Used my SU Cutter Kit (distresser tool) to distress the paper edges. TFL!

This is FANTASTIC -- I knew it was so much like Trudee's gorgeous card before I even read your description -- you have done just a very wonderful job -- makes me want to dig out my chalks, which I rarely use -- this is a gorgeous, beautiful, fantastic card!!!
