Measurements: striped and checked panels are 1 7/8” b 3 1/8”, polka dot panel 1 15/16” by 3 7/8”. It’s a 4.25 by 5.50 card with the second layer cut 1/4” smaller. The flower panel is a 2.50 square on the outside layer.
Straight cuts other than the flower panel which is free hand cut. The squiggle/doodle lines on designer paper are freehand with a gel pen.
The stitches are done with needle and two strands of embroidery thread. I donÂ’t use a guide for placement of holes because I donÂ’t want them perfect. When using a needle always punch from the front to the back so the white from the paper back doesnÂ’t pull up into view... very ugly!
I added color to the flower panel with a Zig water brush/aqua painter and pad ink. The gems are attached with Diamond Glaze. I sponged the edges of all but the flower panel.

Rox, this card is adorable and you have given us a whole new thing to try with the needle and thread. I love the little cross x stiches. The card just pops!

Gorgeous, I freely admit I'm going to scraplift this card. Also wanted to thank you for all your work on the Sketch Card Challenges. I just started doing them, they're great fun!
