I made this thank you card to go along with a gift of flowering tea and a beautiful little clear glass teapot. It was to thank someone for giving my DD a place to stay while he was on a recent trip.
The Chinese character on the eggplant background is the character for "thanks." The sun was sponged on through a cardboard mask. The mountains were handpainted. The rest of the color behind the sun and flowers was stippled or added by irregularly inking the Linen BG stamp so that only part of the pattern showed. Hope this makes sense.
