This card was made for the LSChallenge...a card in honour of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. A cure for breast cancer and all other cancers is a very big dream which is why I used this set. My mother has skin cancer, melanoma, and so I made this card with all cancer patients in mind. Melanoma has a black ribbon but who would want to receive a card designed around a black ribbon? I guess it just seems a little dark to me. And so this card is made with a prayer that a cure for cancer will soon be found and a prayer for all cancer patients and their families...may you be filled with hope, strength and the peace of God.
The scan of this card did not work so well. My camera battery powered down so I had to scan. The colors really do match in person. Thanks Jeanne for your "enabling" abilities. I love my new Paisley... you are right...it is so me. The dream is stamped with chocolate chip craft and embossed with Irridescent Ice ep and is really sparkly in person. Crystal effects and dazzling diamonds on the dot of the I. The brad in the flower is a pink crystal brad by making Memories.

Always know a Julia card - even before seeing your name - outstanding - love how you did the ribbon like the Breast Awareness ribbon - you are so creative!

This is a gorgeous card, and the message that goes along with it. My husband also has melanoma, although as long as tests show clear this next week, he will be clean for 2 years. I appreciate that not only is this card a symbol of breast cancer awareness but also all the other cancers that people battle on a daily basis. Thank you for sharing.

Stunning! All the beautiful details you put in this card show your love for your mom and your sincerity for this cause. As the daughter of a mother who survived breast cancer for 42 years before succumbing to kidney cancer, I deeply appreciate your message.
