I'm on Jacqueline's VSN team, so my challenge was to make a st. patty's card to honor Anita's Irish heritage. Luckily I was able to borrow this set from my sister!
Images are stamped in green galore and glorious green, alternating down the card. Each one was punched using the 1 1/4 inch punch. The edges were sponged with either green galore or glorious green ink. Then, I punched black squares with the 1 3/8 punch and mounted the image onto them. Then each of those layers is mounted onto a 1.5 inch square of glorious green cardstock I cut with a paper trimmer.
The squares are mounted onto a green galore layer that was stamped with the Linen background stamp in glorious green. Finally, it's all mounted onto a glorious green card.
The ribbons on the side aren't a perfect match, but they were the closest I had without actually dying my own. And since I'm an instant gratification type of girl, there was no way I was waiting to do that! LOL. The black grosgrain is SU!; the others just came from my ribbon box, so I'm not sure who makes them.
There's a whole lotta green going on in this card!!! I hope Anita likes it!
