The chickens were a little too tall, so I masked off the lower part of the legs and redrew the feet. Background is done using the dry brush wheel with chocolate and gray ink and then dtp white craft. Board lines & nails are hand drawn.

You did that bg by hand???? Wowza! I thought it was patterned paper!! I'm impressed!! The chicks are great too - I thought of them, but like you said, the legs were too long. I didn't even think of shortening them myself... I totally love this card - it's great!!!

Oh, wow, I LOVE this!! The background is so great ~ can't believe that's not designer paper. And I love how you shortened the chicken legs to fit on the panels. Super cute ~ Amazing job!!

OMG - your card is soooo cute. That background soooo rocks! I am so inspired that I am putting the dry brush wheel on my very next order! If I can't get my 'wood' to look as good as yours, you'll be hearing from me . . . lol! Great card. TFS!
Love how you colored the chickens different colors....my neighbor's hobby is chickens, and she has quite a variety, never knew there were so many kinds and colors. This is an awesome card.
