Different fold - cut CS in half the other way so you have 2 long skinny pieces. Score 1" from one end & 5" from the other end. Fold with flap on outside. Punch 1/8" hole in middle of flap & in red portion to line up with outer hole. Thread silver cord through button holes & both tails through hole on flap. Tie cord in a knot on back side of flap. Make loop with another piece of silver cord, threading both tails through red portions only! Tie in a knot & tape tails down to secure. Red portion is lifted off card base with dimensionals, hiding the knot. Loop over button to secure.

Luv it all!! I was in Rec*ll*cti*ns yesterday and they had "Matchbook" style cards in a pack for way more than I wanted to spend. Thanks for the inspiration and the "template" info.

This card ends up being 4 1/4 x 5". Happy Holidays part is mounted on the front piece with dimensionals to hide the knot for the loop of silver cord. That front piece is overlapped by the flap, kinda like a matchbook, only not stapled in place. There's nothing on the inside. Does that help, Jan? PM me if you have more questions!
