a friend loaned me these cute stamps. the sentiment is computer generated. i looked up popular sayings of the fifties on the internet and this was one of them. the record is cut out from an extra bg and i painted embossing ink on the black part and embossed it. the girl i stamped twice, once on patterned paper and cut out her skirt and scarf and glued it on the original. the poodle on the skirt and her socks and shoes were inked with white gel pen. the ink is thick enough it actually gave them dimension.

Soooo cute!! I love this stamp and how you cut out the pattern paper for the skirt and tie. Aahh, the kids today just don't know what they missed back in those days -- life was so very much more fun and happy!! Great job on putting this together and loved the sentiment you chose.

Oh, love her skirt! What a great fifties card! That's so cool that you looked up popular sayings of the fifties. The internet is definitely a great source for things like that.
