I saw this card on here and was stunned by how beautiful it looked: http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/ga...p?photo=369093
I wanted to case it, but make it for my DH on his return home, so chose to do it in blue instead. I stamped the flowers on bashful blue, and then watercolored with the brilliant blue pad and an aqua painter. I stamped floral on the brilliant blue paper with brilliant blue craft ink. I watercolored the leaves with Always Artichoke. I cut out the petal part of the flower on the top and pop dotted it up. When I was making this card I could not find any bright blue ribbon to match, so used two pieces of SU brown ribbon and one piece of taupe ribbon. Edited to add that I found the brilliant blue ribbon tonight..lol. Figures..lol. I stamped the flower in basic brown and used the splatter stamp from itty bitty backgrounds to make more splatters on the top part of the flower. I stamped the word love from Noteworthy. DH loved the card and said it looked very manly! YEAH!
