This is an invitation to my parent's 40th anniversary. It is a surprise party and my sisters and I are sending them on an Alaskan cruise. I think the card is too plain but I am not sure what to add. Please HELP!

how about a background for the sky? and maybe a different color of blue for the sea, just to add contrast... maybe sparkles for the sky?!?! Hope that helps!
I agree! The background matches the water, so it blends in too much - you could mount the card on a glossy white card stock and then stencils some clouds . . . Great idea for the cruise party. It's going in my favorites!

All the above ideas are great! Here are a few more I might try. Smoke from the boats smoke stacks would add to the sky. Also sponging color on the torn edges of the water to darken them would make it seem more like waves. I really like the cloud idea too! Good luck! I've been on an Alaskan cruise. They are going to have a blast!
