Made this for my stamping sis Kathy. My first time using the chipboard. I painted it with acrylic paint and sanded/distressed the edges. It was fun to do. I dyed organy ribbon with the buckaroo blue ink pad.
Since I first got my in color card stock I've liked the buckaroo and cranberry together, and then I came across this patterned paper in my stash and just had to use it with those colors. DIdn't want to cover it all up so this is the design I came up with. THe only stamping is the linen on the blue strip! But I like it, and so did Kathy, she got it today so now it's safe to post! Thanks for looking!

DUH!!! I am so dense -- paint with acrylic paint -- how brilliant -- why didn't I think of that -- I just ordered some craft ink just for this purpose -- and I have tons of those little bottles of acrylic paint -- anyway, this is so very cool -- that b/g paper is nice!!!! I'm sure your sister loved it -- who wouldn't!!!

Kathy (ME) Loves it! I'm sure my mouth dropped open when I opened this. Not that I don't love all my lovely cards from yooperbrat but this is one of the 'outstanding' ones. I usually put them on my wall at work, but will be looking for a frame for this one!! It is so simple and gorgeous at the same time!!! The pattern paper even has a linen like texture to it. Thank you and HUGS to you, AMY!!!
