I wanted to add the Vintage Violet Ribbon to this card but didn't think the white stitching looked right so I "unstitched" it. I cut a length of the ribbon and pulled the white thread out but the holes from the stitching showed. So I took the ribbon and wet it with hot water and ran it thru my fingers a few times to kind of push the fibers back together. Then I towel dried it and while it was still damp I ironed it. As I ironed it, the ribbon seemed to shrink up a little and the holes from the white stitching disappeared! Now we can get 2 different "looks" from our new stitched grosgrains!
