I haven't seen this yet on SCS so I thought I'd post it. Last night I was looking to make a quick, easy lunch tin. I was looking at the paper I wanted to use and saw leaves, I immediately thought of the leaves from best blossoms. I also remember the brushstroke lines from the last time I did a tin. So, I took white acrylic paint and added cranberry reinker and painted it on the lunch tin. Then I took a sea sponge to give it texture. Next I took a small amount of reinker to darken the lunch tin in spots. Then while the ink was still wet, I stamped the tin and just like soot stamping, the paint came off where the stamp was. So I wiped the stamp and tried again. I liked the effect and it was a quick way to decorate the tin. Then I added navy ribbon and my favorite paper and flowers. I used a circle punch to make the C for cards. Let me know if you've seen this anywhere before.

I thought about it but was afraid to try it and mess up a tin, but it looks great! do you spray anything on it to keep the paint from peeling off? that's the main thing I was afraid of. tfs this great idea!
