This is how I keep my scraps. The portable hanging file comes with 6 or so hanging files and was under $10 at KMart or WalMart. I can easily file scraps with one hand. It is very easy to look for a scrap before cutting into a full sheet of cardstock. I have 4 files for each color group containing 3 colors in each. Anything 1/4 sheet or smaller gets filed in here. Scraps bigger than 1/4 sheet are in hanging files with the full sheets of CS. Neutrals, Whisper White etc... have seperate storage seeing as I have more scaps with these. When my file cube starts getting too full, it is time to make swaps or plan a class project with those colors.

I love this idea, I used hanging files for all of my cardstock for a while, but my file box had a lid. That wasn't as easy as an open file. I love this basket type. I may have to look for one. Thanks so much for the idea.
