Ok, here's the deal.. I am starting October 14th at Joann's teaching cardmaking classes. My first class is a mother/daughter stamp class. They will make 1 Christmas card (this), a Thank You card (fall theme) and an altered box.
I am only allowed to use what Joann's sells. This is tough for an old SU! girl! I tried to keep it simple as it's a beginner's class.
Advice would be appreciated!

Oh my goodness! This is so adorable--perfect for a mother/daughter group. I would be so thrilled to make this card! And, congrats on your card teaching gig!

CONGRATULATIONS!! joann's and any potential students are very blessed to have such a wonderful artist as a teacher. i am envious of them.
i love this card. what's great about it is, even though it is a relatively simple card, it doesn't look boring and flat. that's a really cute snowman stamp too. hope you have a great time and great success with your classes!

Ha! Look who's asking for advice! As if! Your students are very lucky to have you. I think you're right on the money with this, creating a card that has a lot of interest and dimension with clever ideas, without being too complicated. They'll love it!
