This is my first attempt at polished stone and I had tons of fun making it. I think it turned out really well. This card is for a Christmas card swap that I'm in and I sure hope they like it!

I LOVE it! It's your first Polished Stone?? You did an awesome job! Mine always looks like mud! <g> Did you have to spray it with a sealer? When I use a metallic reinker, I find I need to seal it, then it gets sticky! Share your secret!

For those of you wondering about polished stone. Go to the resources section, and under the technique section, go to polished stone. I pretty much followed it to the "t." The ony thing I did differently was that I "squiggled" my metallic re-inker over the page instead of dropping it because I found that I wasn't getting the drops to spread very well and they still looked like drops. I made sure the squiggles I did were VERY thin. You don't need much metallic ink to go a long way! As for the sealant, my upline let me borrow hers (same kind as pictured in the tutorial) and it didn't seem to make the page sticky. Hopefully this helps!

I've read the tutorial and have seen lots of cards, but this one really caught my eye and might force me to try it!
