This is a swap I did for a Pirate swap, and I used the Matey's Map for a Pirate's map and distressed it to make it look really old. Made a file folder for photos and put the map on the outside of the folder!

Thank you all so much! I love distressing and the aging technique! It does take more effort and time, but the end result is so worth it! My compass is made from the quickutz bottlecap set and I just stamped a compass on it! Then I put it on the top of the file folder! My friend and I thought it would be really cute!

What a neat idea!!! Great job, and cool idea to put the compass, and the key!!! Clever girl!

I know you did this ages ago, but I'm just now in this gallery looking for inspiration and I think this project is SO cool! I love the weathered look of the map and the key and diecuts!
