Needed something bright & fun for a young teenage girl to give to a friend moving away. I embossed the flower images with clear EP on glossy paper. I only had classic ink in these colours, so I had to move fast!-but it did work. I brayered a bright orange over top. The girl is originally holding a birthday cake, but that was easily hidden by a word frame. I used watercolour pencils to fill her in and a bit of glitter on top. A little bit of crystal effects & dazzling diamonds went into the center of one of the posies, and I used some of the crystal effects in the word frame, too. I lucked out by having some fibers in just the right colours to edge the banner.

What a great card! Love the bright, cheery colors, the wonderful fiber edging the banner, and the creative way you used the hardware to hide the birthday cake!
