this was the box that I made at an event last night, but I took it apart this morning to try punching the butterfly hole in it. I used the butterfly for a little tag too. you have to just cut a little bit of the bottom flap off under where you are punching, so that you are still just punching one layer of paper. Punching through the panel and the bottom flap (folded up so that i could reach higher) did not work. But even with cutting some of the flap, it is still a strong little box!

very nice. i love the butterfly. i'm wondering if you or someone else can give me the 411 on these 2,4,6,8 boxes. i looked for them on the s.u. catty and saw nothing with that name. if there is a template somewhere, can you please either e-mail to me or let me know where i can find it.
i'm still fairly new to the website and am loving all the sharing and participation.
thanks,

If you click on FORUMS then click on TECHNIQUES there is a place that says 2,4,6,8 box right at the top. Scroll down in there and someone pasted directions. It is SUPER simple. It is called that because you have a 1/2 sheet of cardstock (8 1/2 by 5 1/2) and then you score it at the 2inch, 4 inch, 6inch and 8inch marks and that is where you fold it up to make a little box! EASY EASY you will make 1000 of them once you make one!
