Love the way she layered her photos and it inspired me to try it with the photos of the museum - not really the same thing, but I am so glad I didn't try cutting these up, I like it better this way.
Epoxy Sticker is his-to-ry (don't think that will show up in the scan)
journaling: The settlement was built in 1831 and three of the original buildings still remain on the site in downtown Honolulu. They seemed so out of place surrounded by skyscrapers and parking garages. The missionaries had an incredible impact on the Hawaiian people and their culture. The Hale La'au, built in 1821, is the oldest frame structure in the Hawaiian Islands and served as a home to the missionary families. The Ka Hale Pa'i was the printing house where Americans and Hawaiians created the Hawaiian alphabet to produce books and other printed items. The final original structure is the Ka Hale Kamalani which was built entirely from blocks of coral skeletons. It was a missionary home and used as a storehouse for mission goods.

Peggy, what a great page. I do like how the pictures are layered and especially your museum ones with the swing h/w there to anchor it. The paper and the sewing with the sticker really sets the tone for this - love it

Beautiful page Peggy! I love the colors. The stitching at the top with the history embellie looks great. Love how you overlapped the pictures too. Great page! TFS~
