This was my first attempt at the pearly window technique. I liked the way it turned out but then I had to play with the mounting and well, mask a mistake or two. This is how it ended up. I stamped the flower on acetate, ran through the xyron, and colored with Pearl Ex. I mounted that to the Pale Plum. I had some rough edges showing, so I mounted the whole thing to the Perfect Plum and used the seam binding to hide the oops. I tied the celery color "hemp" around and "rejoiced that I had salvaged my work!

Awesome salvage! That iris (my favorite) stamp is so beautiful colored with pearl ex, but I'm going to look up the technique, I'm not familiar with it! Love the celery hemp and the seam binding....clever!
