Well the same people who wanted the wreath for the wedding reception door also wanted me to stamp a mailbox. The theme of the wedding is "A perfect Pair" so I used the branch from Sun Ripened 2 and masked the apple so the image was not inked, then used the pear from DD fruits. Staz on inks and sharpies were used, the letters were purchased from a lighting manufacturer who also makes mailboxes, and were wonderfully easy to apply. I could NEVER have gotten the letters so straight by freehand.
So this mailbox will go on the gift table during the reception for the guests to put the envelops in, and then be used at the new house they are building! I was scared at first because I had never stamped something so big, but in the end was so happy with the result. Thanks for looking! Nancyruth
Oh yeah, I also sponged yellow and turquoise staz on around the images to soften the look.

DID YOU PURCHASE A WHITE MAILBOX AND STAMP IT OR DID YOU HAVE TO PREPARE THE MAILBOX 1ST. MY DAUGHTER IS GETTING MARRIED OCT 7TH AND I WOULD LIKE TO MAKE THEM ONE...ANY ADVICE WOULD BE GREAT...IT IS SO BEAUTIFUL.....THANKS
