I am designing a website for a great fabric store that sells yummy fabric by the yard. I have 50-60 great little 3-4 inch squares and rectangles of many different fabrics: chenilles, cottons, wovens, sheers, taffetas, etc.
I figured some of them might make some fun cards. I'm starting out simple, and might later work my way up into some more complicated cards.
This one is made with a beautiful Rosebud sheer gold 100% silk hand tied sample that sells for $65.50/yard. Wowzers!
I stamped the lovely verse from Natural Beauty in choc chip on a simple white card, trimmed and affixed the fabric with dimensionals that are hidden by the handtied 'balls'.
The fabric is so lovely, I didn't want to overwhelm the card with too much else.

This is absolutely gorgeous! Great start on your fabric swatches! I'm thinking it's quite sheer if you stamped on the paper, and put the fabric over it. I wonder what one would make with see- through $65.00/yard fabric.;)
