to dress the kids for winter, i off-stamped several times until you could hardly see the lines. then i redrew the parts of the kids i wanted to keep the same (faces, boots...) with a fine tipped permanent marker, making the clothing changes as i went along. the background is torn white paper edged with d.diamonds (i've seen this done several times on this site-thanks to others for this idea). the sky is paper already marbled with blue. i just enhanced it a little with a sponge. the trees and the star are cut out and enhanced with a little more d.diamonds. this took forever, but it was fun to do. lol!
