Well I do not know how I can create anything in the mess you see in the before picture but I can and do, yet I am so happy when I take the time and get things spruced up again. My struggle is keeping my stamping space neat and clean. Any ideas? I think one of the problems (duh) is I keep putting more and more stuff into my little 8 x 10 basement room, (and I am GRATEFUL for it, don't get me wrong) and one of these days it might just explode! Anyway wanted to share Before and after with my fellow SCS'ers! Have a great Saturday!

I have went from a very small space, to sharing the dinning room to a spare bedroom (12x14). I think no matter how much space you have it never enough. The secret to to "clean" when done with each project or the end of the day. Before going to the next project to play session I put everything back in it place, but I do have a medium size basket beside my table that has the essentials-tape, sissors, hole punch, color wheel ect.

Yep, this is my room too! I also have my computer and a few of my granddaughter's toys in my room so she can be with me while I craft & stamp. I want to purge everything that is not stamp related out of that room that can be recycled, tossed, donated. Then I may have more room for storage!

After each project I try and clean my space before moving on to the next ... however, this isn't always the case. My stamp area is a spare bedroom (14 x 14) thank also doubles as the office. So my DH has one side and I have the other which works out nicely because the computer is is in the same room and SCS is always at my fingertips! My DH puts up with alot because when I get to stamping this is what my half looks like, coffee mug and all!

Are you sure you didn't take this pic at MY house? haha! You know you are really creative when you have a messy work area. The art is more important than being tidy! ;)

I'm lucky if I can even find my stamping table these days!! My roommate walks by, pokes his head into my stamp room, shakes his head, sighs, and then walks away muttering something about creative minds rarely being tidy. Oooh! There's a neat sign to stamp and frame for my room!!

Now WAIT a minute...if that's messy, what are you calling my stamping space???!!! My biggest problem is my butt, once it's plopped down, it doesn't want to get back up to fetch or take care of anything. Since it's glued to the seat, keeping my fingers and brain happy and everything is in reach, who the heck cares?! And since you have some pretty creative little pieces of art come from your little stamping space, I say you should just leave it as it is. It looks perfect to me. TFS
