As for wiping walls down. Once paint was dry not a problem. And the paint dried fast. The gold is acrylic paint from Michaels (look in the area near the stencial isle the one we were in had a whole side counter of the little bottle of paint) This is the same kinda paint that is used for the old toll painting etc.. I will have to call sister to get brand name and add it on here too, since that info would be helpful. Took less than one bottle to do entire wall. They sell several variations of metallic golds. Also they have coppers, silvers and bronze colors too. Really got me excited to do this project and with others in mind too. As we all know if we can get it to hold still long enough we will stamp on it...LOL. Enjoy!
