 | | This is for today's Mix challenge focusing on HOT. The challenge is to use hearts, something old, and a technique. My hearts are both in the sprinkles stamp and also the two larger hearts near the Bible verse. For my technique I decided to do the Nouveau Retiform technique. First I stenciled my background which involved a lot of masking. Instead of using a wheel to add stamping to my squares, I used the heart themed sprinkle stamp. Both my Sprinkles stamp as well as the Simply Said heart stamps are some of my older stamps in my collection though I'm not sure how old they are.
After completing my background, I die cut it with a stitched rectangle framelit and matted that piece with a Calypso Coral panel. I stamped and fussy cut the Bible verse popping it up with foam tape. A couple two step stamped Daffodil Delight hearts and some metallic watercolor splatters complete my card.
