I was trying to get to sleep the other night when I got the idea for this card. I'm not quite crazy enough to get up and make it right when I got the idea, but I did finally make it today when I couldn't get into the scrapbooking groove. No idea why I'm making an autumn-themed card...my DH says I'm thinking of my friend's daughter whose name is Autumn. Good answer; I think I'll send the card to her.
I did the Leaves Awash wheel in Ruby Red, then watercolored it with Pumpkin Pie, More Mustard, and a little Ruby Red before I sponged Garden Green over it. The vanilla seemed to stark before I did the green on it. I did the background by loading up my Aquapainter with a lot of Ruby Red ink from an ink refill, then squeezing out some extra water on the tip before tapping it against my fingers to make it splat.
