This is my sample for CC1107. Linda is our hostess, and she chose balmy blue, darling duckling duckling and granny apple green for her color trio. Dessert option this week is anything goes. I chose a 4th color of real red.
I needed a birthday card for a good friend who celebrates in June. So, I thought of the Spellbinders Pacel & Post die to create my card. I cut the mailbox in balmy blue and night of navy (neutral). The flowers are cut in the challenge colors + real red (my anything goes option). I used dimensional adhesive to lift it up off the background for interest.
I embossed the background panel with the Stampin' Up eyelet embossing folder. Stamped my sentiment to complete my card.
I hope you can play along with us this week. Linda has chosen some great colors for your card designs. And the design team will have some great samples to spark your creativity.

A sweet birthday card for your friend. I love how you sneaked one little white envelope in with all those pretty flowers. Great minds--my anything goes option was also Real Red!

What a sweet birthday card, Mary. Love all the different die-cuts used to create this fun design. Even though I Love it all, my favorite parts are the bow & sentiment~

Fabulous mailbox for a birthday greeting. Love all the flowers, bow and envelope to embellish. Red was a perfect 4th color. Wonderful ideas for the challenge colors & dessert option!
