Sabrina's challenge to us today was to make an eclipse card or a card with a sun and moon on it. You can find her challenge here. WT1107 - A Total Eclipse - 05/28/2026 by Cook22 at Splitcoaststampers
I immediately knew I wanted to do something with tea. I sorted through my tea stamps and dies as well as my alphabet dies. I only have one large alphabet die set. I couldn't put dimensionals behind the narrow letters so I cut 5-6 layers of cardstock instead. I didn't use as many layers for the little triangle in the A. Once I had the letters done I wanted to add the word, Time. It is part of the stamp set from Daily Bread. I added that with dimensionals then cut out the teacup and tea bag. I added the tea bag with linen thread. I stamped the sentiment on designer paper and used the Key Tag punch. I added the tea cup and sentiment with dimensionals. This will go to a dear friend who loves tea.

Love your pretty fresh floral tea design, pretty papers and works very well with the eclipse technique

I've never used dimensionals for the eclipse technique - I guess I learned it from the tutorial and I think when Anne featured something similar as a TLC and it was just using a couple of layers of cardstock. And I always have to remember to be so careful not to lose things like the inside of the A. I really like the layout, to me with the cup it's almost like a placemat with a cup set at the corner.

Lovely tea-themed card. Several layers of cardstock is probably sturdier than dimensionals, anywya. I've only made a few eclipse cards, and so far I've stayed away from word die-cuts just so I don't have to worry about things like the triangle inside an A.

Your tea themed eclipse design feels so warm and inviting with the way the layered letters rise cleanly from the soft floral paper, and the added Time element, teacup, and linen thread tea bag create such a charming vignette while the Key Tag punched sentiment anchors the layout with a crisp focal point that ties the whole comforting theme together.

Beautiful tea-themed card. The colors and papers are lovely. I especially like the Bible verse. Fabulous job with the eclipse technique. Great card!
