I started this by water coloring something similar to the flowers on the dress and in the same colors. Then I took inspiration from Abigail's creation and added some more color with sponging, random text stamping, and some faux stitching (hers is real).

What a stunning card. The watercolor work on the flowers is absolutely beautiful, and I love how you incorporated the text stamping and faux stitching to give it such a unique, artistic feel. The color palette you chose perfectly captures a sense of elegance and sympathy.

The drift of different size and colors of flowers down the right side is such a lovely effect. Adding the bits of subtle text and faux stitching makes me think of the memories that may fade with time but stay unobtrusively in the bg.

Beautiful card, Nancy! The flowers and shading lovely! I like how you combined the challenges, with the dress inspiration and added in the faux stitching to represent the stitching element Abigail used.
