I made this sympathy card for a friend who lost his mother who is 95 years old. My husband doesn't like the card and says I shouldn't give it. What do you all think? I'd like the share the inside verse:
God's Gift of Time: We all need a time to grieve -- a quiet time for reflection to sift through precious memories and come to grips with what has happened. We all need a time to let the tears flow, not for the one we lost, who is at peace in heaven, but for ourselves as we realize that things will be different now. We all need a time to just "be," when we can open ourselves to God and let the reassurance of His everlasting love start to heal our broken heart.

Perhaps your husband has an aversion to pink. I can't think of any other reason why he wouldn't like it. It's lovely, and the way you colored your main image is soft and soothing. The verse is extremely appropriate and comforting. I'd send it.

PERFECT is all I can say- I love how you made this card look so gentle(watercolorish~look) and the sentiment is so perfect-
Does your hubby like pink?
I would be honored to receive something so femine and with the perfect wording
SEND IT
I'm sure it's the color he doesn't like. Maybe make another in something not quite so feminine, and he would feel like it was more appropriate. I think it's absolutely beautiful and it's going into my favorites!
