FS972 - This week's very talented Featured Stamper Katherine, is better known around here as katherinerock. I found this INSPIRATION.

For my card, I featured a large graduation cap die cut, crafted from black cardstock. I mounted it using dimensional adhesive to give it a pop of depth, with a grad cap-themed designer paper serving as the background.

The CONGRATS sentiment was also die cut and placed on a white strip, which I layered over gold mirror cardstock for a touch of shine.

To finish it off, I embellished the graduation cap with a gold gem for a celebratory sparkle.

When I was looking through Katherine's Gallery and saw the card you cased, I said to myself: "Lisa will case that one." And you did!

This is a fabulous and elegant grad card, Lisa. Super papers and that large cap is wonderful. Love this. Hugz

That gold gem was the perfect finishing touch - it added a bit of pizzazz to the large mortarboard while picking up the shimmer from the mirror board framing.
(girl, you are WAY ahead of the game this year . . .)
