Suz (pixordia) is issuing the WCW challenge this week and gave us this wonderful tutorial for painting trees. It was really fun. I added some grassy hills to mine and thought I would use it as a masculine birthday card as I need 3-4 of those this month.
The tutorial is Painting Trees in Watercolor and Practicing Brushstrokes. The artist is Camilla Damsbo Art.

I love that you did the sky and ground here so much Brenda it makes it a really nice scene for a card, I started thinking that after I was painting that if I tried to work in a light wash for the sky, I'd probably smear the leaves and such.
