This is a card that I made using a faux mosaic tile effect. I used a photograph of a floral collage, cut it using straight edges only, into 1/2" pieces. I did a marble effect on the cardstock, then glued the pieces of "tile" (cut up photo) onto the cardstock leaving a 1/8" gap between pieces. Once arranged, I matted the card onto a folded cardstock card. Once this was finished, I used Crystal Effects from SU and applied a thin coat of CE to each tiled piece. Let dry, apply another coat. 3 coats does it! Very realistic looking tile!! Much nicer in person! Try it...its fun!!

Thanks Cindy! Just was something I enjoyed doing. I love real mosaics anyhow...and we used the Crystal Effects one night in a Stamp workshop to add pizzaz to a piece. I thought to myself..."Hmmm that would give any paper a "glass effect". Soo the idea blossomed that very night!!! Thanks for the compliment...I love sharing!!
