I wanted to get a card made for Kittie's husband Bob [Kittie747]. The challenge was to feature food. I have like zero food stamps . . . .
Saturday's Inspiration challenge is a place called Miss Jophiel. . . . My hopes for inspiration seemed smashed when Amy mentioned be prepared for LOTS of flowers. Still I went looking, then I ran across this dress The colors and shapes of the flowers jogged my memory of some Vege stamps I own (last used in 2017 - I looked!)
Stamped the veges, layering colors for a more realistic look - the went back to stamp the definitions, masking some of the images and overstamping others.
"Organic Vegetables" is a stamp but I wanted to personalize this card so (and this is scary for me) I found an agua ball point about the same color as my ink pad and handwrote Bob's, trying to match as best I could the script on the stamp.
Finish by sponging several different colors over my card front to hopefully unify the vege stampings.

It was delighted to see your Stamp in the Hand veggies on this darling card, Linda. I've had fun creating plenty of cards with them through the years and it was fun to see you use them for this cute card. You nailed the writing!

I really like this. It's like a page from a sketchbook. You did an amazing job matching your writing to add Bob's to the text stamp. I don't think I realised that it was that early that orange carrots became common.

Well you did a heck of a job on that lettering. I thought you wrote the entire sentiment out. Kudos and then more Kudos! Love the veggies with the definitions for the bg. Great masking there, my friend. And the ink blending on this really brings it all together beautifully. Wonderful card.
