Linda has us practicing flowers in a meadow. I am so proud of myself finally using masking fluid!
Unfortunately, I was in a hurry and did my first wash color before I did any masking fluid so then I had to clean it up with tons of water which made my next layer of wash blend in too much. Then I forgot to sketch the scene first AND I used white masking fluid so I couldn't see where I put the fluid or where to put it. I just kept going though, and it all worked out in the end. I may try it again following the video more.
I definitely will use making fluid again though - it was fun.
Thanks for pushing us, Linda.

Beautiful painting, Nancy with your lovely soft touch of the grass and flowers. Smiling here reading your deets on using the masking fluid. I hope you try using it again in a different painting. It really is a helpful tool. Thanks for sharing your talent.

I love how your white's pop here Nancy, this is gorgeous. you really captured that pretty meadow vibe My brain was trying to figure out how to build the support structure under the white parts to worry about adding more blooms and grasses.

Beautiful wildflowers, Nancy, and glad you did use some masking fluid as it is a handy thing.
