Whether you choose Wisconsin, Weyauwega, Wauwatosa, Waukesha, Wausau, Woodruff, Wausau, Waupaca, Washburn, Waterloo, Watertown, Waupun, Wautoma, West Bend, West Allis, West Salem, Westby, Whitehall, Whitewater, Wisconsin Rapids, or Wisconsin Dells, W is for WISCONSIN!!!!
I grew up going to cheese factories. The first one I went to was owned by a man with a very thick accent and you could go right up to the vats of curds and pull some out while still warm. Of course that is not allowed any longer...amazing I survived. Yes, Wisconsin is best known for things like cheese, beer, Green Bay Packers, cranberries, cherries, all rather 'cheesy' but I'm a Wisconsin girl 110% and 'we like it here', a popular WI saying. A governor in 1985 wanted our plates to say 'eat cheese or die', but that was turned down, thank goodness.
I used today's sketch, which you can see underneath all the stamping. I kept smearing the ink so I heat embossed. I masked off all the rectangles and ink blended in cheesy colors. I struggle with so many shapes on a cardfront so I did it my way. I love all cheese, the stronger the better.
This will go to Kittie's husband...hope they like cheese. Please don't tell me you like Kraft Singles. Interesting fact: during Prohibition, Pabst beer produced cheese instead. When Prohibition ended, Pabst sold their cheese recipe to Kraft. Too bad Kraft made fake cheese. Ick. Thanks for the challenges! (yes, I'm fussy about cheese!)

Great card! I love all the fun cheese puns. I also love every cheese I've ever tried, except Limburger. I ate it the way you're supposed to, with strong mustard and raw onion, and it still tasted like feet.

How could they not like cheese? That's un-American! Really cute card. I'm swinging by your state tomorrow...doing a Spotted Cow beer run. I'll be in my hometown tomorrow and it's 3 mi from Prescott.
