This is for this week's wonderful sketch challenge. It looked like an excellent opportunity to use some designer paper. I chose these patterns to go together with my trio of apples. It is also for this week's Alphabet Challenge letter W for Washington state. One of the things Washington state is known for is their apples. I remember going to Wenatchee, WA to visit my aunt and uncle and also to get tasty apples right from the orchard.
I matted each panel with white card stock and watercolored my apples popping that panel up on foam tape. With all the layers, I decided to stamp the sentiment directly on the card base. I did splatter Granny Apple Green ink on the card base though it is very subtle.
Thanks for the challenges and thanks for looking!

Catherine, this is perfect! The panel of apples fits beautifully in the sketch. I absolutely love the bright, bold color palette, too. Fabulous all around!
