Far from home up in the Outer Banks of North Carolina. Nearest shops are 14 miles away, 9 of those on the beach. I have no watercolour powders here but I do have plenty of beach and dunes, hence my postcard painting. First time in the trip I have painted - either been too busy, too tired or too interested in our surroundings

Ooh, Janine, I love your painting and so glad I didn't miss it. I missed all your cards last week. I guess I was thinking you were too busy on your trip to make a card but I did see some in the favorites. This looks like a beautiful spot to land for a few days and I sure hope the weather turns sunny for the rest of your trip. This is a keeper to remind you of your trip.

What a great beach scene, Janine. Sounds like a wonderful place and a relaxing bit of America to visit. Love this and all your fun Facebook posts too - so cool to see bits of America from your eyes. Hugz
