I needed to use up this image from my tote. For the card base and the image, I used a paper distress tool and distressed all the edges, I then added some tan distress oxide to the card base and the blue layer.
Under the image, I cut a doily in half and tucked it under the corners. I then used a brad in the upper left corner and several flowers from my stash finishing them with pearls.
The ribbon was tucked around the image and the blue layer.
Thank you for stopping by. I would love it if you would check out my Blog: Shoe Girls Cards.

I'm an anglophile so I love all things English--especially Big Ben! I love how you used the doily behind the image and the flowers look wonderful. I also checked out your blog and added it to my favorites!

What a delightful mixed media creation, Lisa. So much beautiful texture, color and detail. I love the doily layers in back, the curled edges on your Big Ben panel and your lovely distressed flowers.
