Thanks for the shout-out about Zentangle, Polly. I do love it a lot. Zentangle is the one art technique that helped me feel confident and that I could try other techniques. I don't know why I've so taken to it....I can't draw, to speak of. I know some of you don't believe it, but anyone can do it. It does take practice and patience but it is very freeing. I have a good friend who is a perfectionist, never did anything art-wise and her Zentangle is in some ways better than mine. She finally is embracing it.
I combined both of today's challenges. I found the BG paper in my stash, stamped it on the top and bottom with a branch stamp. I used this stamp a few weeks ago, everyone thought I had drawn it. Nope, it's a stamp, maybe IO. The sentiment is Wordworth, I think.
I had already done the Zentangle piece, just added a bit more with a sepia Micron and the rose gold LP. Stamped the pods that came with the sentiment stamp, then heat embossed in the copper. That's it in a nutshell.
I had been doing some smaller pieces of Zentangle recently, nice to have that in my stash. And I'm really enjoying using my stash of decorative paper. Good to use it up! Thanks for the challenges!

Gorgeous..all of it!! I love the bg paper and your stamped branches but the zentangle drew my eye in...love both designs and the shading nearby. I knew you'd come up with something mah-vel-ous!

Some fabulous zentangle elements and very cool stamping on dsp, Jean. You tied it all in together so well, and the words are lovely. GREAT card. Hugz

I love cards featuring quotes and this is a real beauty! I recognize the BG DP - I have some in my stash as well. It made a wonderful background for your gorgeous zentangling. The copper and rose gold look superb with the grey and black. What a lovely card!
