This needlework with its stoneware crock was my inspiration. I filled it with geraniums rather than pine branches. Most stoneware of this variety I have seen is with the brown on top, so I did mine that way. Added to the country feeling with gingham DP.

As always, your painting blows me away, Sallie. Your geraniums are lovely in your gorgeous stoneware pot. Your shadows and splattering are perfect! The gingham is a beautiful choice for framing.
What a lovely card, Sallie! I love the crock of geraniums and frame of gingham in red and white! It really compliments the crock, as does the distressed edges!

Geraniums and gingham just go together like a pair of gloves. This is so beautifully created and your water coloring is superb.
