This is one of my cards for the Mix challenge today, mixed with the blackout embossing technique
I've embossed the white card stock, used the back side to sponge with DOX, covered with the Stazon ink pads, splattered with rubbing alcohol, then I've die cut the starry aperture, layered this with foam tape over the stamped golden linen, colored the bird with pencils and outlined it with the white gel pen, the bird is sharper in color in real life but on the gold base difficult to capture, I've added some golden stars and white gel pen dots, the die cut left over is glued on the inside of the card

Beautiful card! I love the colors of your leafy background, and the gold you added to some of the stars is a wonderful detail. The whole thing reminds me of being in a forest a night, and looking up to see a bird silhouetted against the moon.

This is so pretty, Anita. I love your leafy background and then the stars in the opening are wonderful. I like the addition of your gold stars and the bird on the gold seems to glow.
