This week the Tea Potters sent cards of support and birthday wishes to Tarra. I wanted to use my new butterfly die and lots of green. These are the pieces I made for her card, but opted not to use. Luckily for me, they look great together so now I have birthday card for a friend's upcoming.
I did the same background, but on this card I stamped the leaves with the lighter green (Garden Party) first and then ink blended. IRL this is a much lighter green than the photo is showing and I really wanted something richer and deeper for Tarra so I remade her bg. Then I wanted a blue and turquoise butterfly because I love that color combo. But it barely showed up on the darker bg. So I switched out Tarra's butterfly for yellow. And with those pieces left over, I assembled this card with a different sentiment and rhinestones and I love it just as much as Tarra's.
Hope you have some leftovers you will love today too. TFL.

Gorgeous! The BG is outstanding. I love how you stamp your BG. The ink-blended BG on the butterfly is fabulous. That headline stamp is beautiful...
